Extending from the eastern slope of Dollar Hill on the north shore and along the shores of Carnelian Bay and up the hills that border North Lake Blvd. this is a community that offers a wide variey of homes.
Cedar Flat, Fulton Acres and Carnelian Heights are somewhat more secluded areas which attract many permanent residents. The setting is woodsier than Dollar Hill or the Highlands. There is a mix of older and newer homes and many have lake views. The lakefront homes are generally close to the highway, althought the lakefront homes on Ferguson Ave, have a row of houses between them and hte highway.
Chinquapin is a lakefront condominium complex that covers the eastern slope of Dollar Hill. The HOA offers tennis, swimming a beach, pier and buoys. Unit prices vary widely depending on size and views.
Ridgewood Highlands is wooded with a mixture of homes like Carnelian Heights except for some steeper and more narrow roads creating somewhat more difficult winter access, but with the advantage of an association pier. Price range is similar to Carnelian Heights. The area offers some big lake views and there are also lake front homes bordering North Lake Blvd.
